Italy face the same three teams but cover vastly more miles and without directly connected airports: vs Japan in Tokyo, vs New Zealand in Wellington and vs Australia in Perth.

- Argentina’s Gonzalo de Achaval has been appointed referee for two matches in the u20 Rugby Championship.
- Former Newcastle player Matías Moroni scored a try and had an assist try for Bristol Bears against Newcastle Red Bulls.
- Guido Petti’s rampaging try for the Harlequins was his first for the club and suggests he will add plenty more caps to his career total which stands at 98 test matches for Argentina.
- The seemingly Top 14 destined Vannes won big again. Puma Francisco Gorrissen and Cóndor Iñaki Ayaza were try scorers in Friday’s 61-24 win over Aurillac. Puma Bautista Pedemonte and Tero Jean Cotatmanac’h were replacements. Vannes are guaranteed top spot heading into the play-off’s.
- Pumas capitan Julían Montoya scored for Pau against Stade Français. The Parisians won at the death.
- A Pumas recall is increasingly likely for Domingo Miotti. El Tucumano was the hero for Montpellier who downed Bordeaux 23-21 on the road on Saturday. Miotti scored 13 points.

It continues the decades long behavior of Scotland poaching New Zealand rugby players a la ‘Kilted-Kiwis.’
