Canada names squad for Halifax training camp

Kévin Rouet has named 37 players for the final training camp on Canadian soil before his team departs for the World Cup in New Zealand. The Senior Women will take on Wales at Wanderers Grounds in Halifax next Saturday, having beaten Italy in Langford last month.

Four players who were part of the extended squad in BC are left out. They are forwards Mackenzie Carson and Veronica Harrigan, and uncapped backs Mahalia Robinson and Audrey Champagne.

Three others are listed as unavailable – flanker Pamphinette Buisa, versatile back Chloe Daniels, and winger Renee Gonzalez. There are no new additions.
