New Zealand to face Argentina in Hamilton and Christchurch in 2022 Rugby Championship

New Zealand will play host to Argentina in two test matches in 2022. The matches will be both of the All Blacks vs Los Pumas fixtures of the 2022 Rugby Championship. Match venues for the fixtures have been confirmed for Christchurch and Hamilton.

The 2022 Rugby Championship will be different from prior editions of the competition. Los Pumas will not play twice against the Wallabies in Argentina but not in Australia and the South Americans will split their matches against South Africa with one at home and one on the road.

Argentina’s match against New Zealand in Christchurch will be a home game for flanker Pablo Matera. He joined the Crusaders from Stade Français and is presently playing Super Rugby for the Churstchurch-based franchise.

Argentina’s 2022 schedule will start in July. Los Pumas will play host to Scotland in a three-match series. The games will take place in the northern cities of Salta, Jujuy and Santiago del Estero.

Los Pumas’ home matches against Australia will be played in the western Argentine cities of Mendoza and San Juan while the home match against South Africa will nbe played in Buenos Aires.

The year will conclude with a three-match tour of Europe. Argentina will play away tests in the UK in November. They are to be one test match against each of England, Scotland and Wales at their respective home stadiums in London, Edinburgh and Cardiff.
