Canada to play Portugal and Belgium in November

World Rugby have confirmed two European tests for Canada in November. The previously-announced match against Portugal takes place on November 6, followed by a test against Belgium a week later on November 13. Venues and kickoff times are to be determined.

It will be the second trip to Europe for Canada this year, following their two-match trip to the UK in July. The North Americans last played Portugal at Lisbon in 2013, a 52-8 victory, while their only previous test against Belgium was a 43-12 victory at Brussels in 2010.

Canada is expected to travel with a young roster regardless of the outcome of the current World Cup Qualifying series after opting out of the Americas Pacific Challenge. Portugal are currently two spots above Canada at No19 on the World Rugby Rankings. Belgium are at No27, marginally behind Brazil.
