Bernasconi Headlines Argentina XV Roster to face England A

The Argentina XV roster is locked and loaded for the upcoming international assignment. The Argentine national Men’s next-of-XV will take on England A in an uncapped match in Bath, England on Friday, November 06.

The battle is an opportunity for players from both teams to play for possible call-ups to the test match arena. Both England and Argentina will play four capped test matches during the November Internationals as part of the 2026 Nations Championship.

The Argentina XV trained together for four days at Hindú Club in Buenos Aires. With that over, head coach, and former Puma, Álvaro Galindo has now confirmed a 27-man roster to travel to Bath. His roster is headlined by Bernardo Bernasconi (Benetton) but the hooker is far from being the only capped Puma.

Bernasconi is joined by Pedro Delgado (Harlequins), Benjamín Grondona (Bristol Bears), as well as capped players based in Argentina, namely the trio of and Nicolás D’Amorim, Juan Penoucas, and Santiago Pernas.

Bernasconi, Delgado and Grondona are part of a healthy contingent of players based in Europe. Galindo has also selected Matías Medrano (Benetton), Gael Galván (Agen), Juan Segundo Martín Montilla (Clermont) and Tobías Wade (Zebre Parma).
