Alysha Corrigan re-signs with Saracens

Alysha Corrigan will return to England for a second Premier 15s season with Saracens. The Canadian international from Charlottetown, PEI, has signed a new deal for the 2021-22 season with the goal of earning selection to next year’s World Cup in New Zealand.

Corrigan, 24, joined Saracens part-way through this past season and played 10 games including the Championship Final, covering both center and wing. She notably notched a try in her professional debut against Durham Sharks in February.

Fellow Canadians Emma Taylor and Sophie de Goede, both versatile second or back row players, and hooker Mackenzie Carson also played for the club last season. Prop Alex Ellis has been with the team since 2019 but did not make a match day appearance during the 2020-21 season.
