Agustín Creevy signs extended contract with London Irish

Agustín Creevy has secured his playing future. The former Argentine skipper signed an extended contract with London Irish. Upon making the announcement, London Irish noted that Creevy has scored five tries in twelve matches since joining the club.

The 35-year-old joined London Irish for the 2020-2021 season. He did so from Los Jaguares. He was part of the player exodus that has seen 2020 Jaguares and Ceibos departing Argentina.

All three Jaguares hookers from 2020 now play in England. Julián Montoya plays for the Leicester Tigers and Santiago Socino recently joined Gloucester. In addition, former Jaguar hooker Facundo Bosch plays for La Rochelle in the Top 14. Meanwhile, Ceibos hookers Pablo Dimcheff and José Luis González play for Pro D2 teams Charente and Mont de Marsan.

Creevy is one of two Argentine players at London Irish. Earlier this week, the club signed Facundo Gigena. The uncapped loose head prop joins London Irish from the Leicester Tigers.
