Joeli Tikoisuva re-signs with NOLA Gold

Joeli Tikoisuva has re-signed with the NOLA Gold for the 2020 Major League Rugby season. The club has confirmed a one-year deal for the 23-year-old winger, the 9th player to extend their contracts since the 2019 season concluded.

An age-grade All-American up to u19 level, ‘Jojo’ took his first steps in professional rugby with the Sacramento Express during the 2016 PRO Rugby season. He played all eight games for the Gold during their inaugural 2018 campaign, and featured in 11 games his past season, scoring three tries.

Tikoisuva follows fellow backs Holden Yungert, Tristan Blewett, and JP Eloff in extending their stays in New Orleans. Former Dragons fullback Carl Meyer was the first new addition confirmed by the club, with more set to be announced imminently.
