World Rugby releases Americas Combine documentary

World Rugby has released a 50-minute documentary feature on the week-long Rugby Americas Combine that was hosted at Glendale’s Infinity Park in October. The combine featured 26 players from Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Uruguay, and the USA. At the end of the week the players came together to play in an Americas Selects XV against the Glendale Raptors with the goal to win Major League Rugby contracts.

The match ended with the Selects winning in fine fashion by 59-31. Nine players who took part have since been signed to MLR deals with a 10th currently in discussions. A total of 19 players will suit up during the Americas Rugby Championship. The documentary in its entirety can be seen below.
