Super Rugby Americas – Week 10 – ARN Guide

Week 10 of Super Rugby Americas (SRA) features two Friday fixtures and two Saturday fixtures. Three of the four matches will have play-off’s repercussions and the remaining match is a pivotal fixture to determine avoiding bottom spot.

The action opens in Rosario where history will be made. The first-ever professional rugby contest between teams based in Rosario and Buenos Aires sees Los Capibaras having home advantage against Los Pampas. The teams are positioned 3rd and 2nd respectively. Their previous encounter in Buenos Aires was competitive with Los Pampas winning by 5 points.

Game two on Friday sees Yacare playing host to Os Cobras in Asunción. It is 7th at home against 8th with Yacare on 11 points and Os Cobras having 7. The 6th placed Peñarol are on 21 points. For all purposes, this is not only the basement clash, but also the unofficial final to avoid finishing SRA 2026 in last position.

Saturday’s two matches also see one match between two Argentine matches and one between two from different countries. The Argentine clash sees Los Dogos at home against Los Tarucas. It is the competition leaders hosting the 5th places side.

Los Tarucas are under heavy pressure now that they have been overtaken by Selknam. Moreover, their match in Córdoba comes hours after Selknam face Peñarol in El Clásico in Santiago. Selknam enter Week 10 on 27 competition points while Los Tarucas are on 23.
