Los Dogos and Los Pampas to debut in preseason

Argentina’s two Super Rugby Americas teams are to debut in a preseason match. Los Dogos will travel to Buenos Aires to face Los Pampas on Friday, February 10. The meeting will be the first ever between the teams and the first ever rugby match for Los Dogos.

The Córdoba-based Los Dogos are officially representing mainland Argentina while Los Pampas represent Buenos Aires. The latter team previously existed before the creation of Los Jaguares for Super Rugby. Indeed, American Raptors players Martín Landajo and Ramiro Moyano are former Pampas‘ players.

The preseason match will take place at the Asociación Deportiva Francesa club in Buenos Aires. The club is responsible for the production of two of the greatest Argentine players of the 21st century; both Juan Martín Hernández and Rodrigo Roncero come from the club.
