Lance Williams joins Men’s Eagles for Dubai Sevens

The USA will send a heavily reinforced Men’s Eagles side to the Dubai Sevens. Among the traveling roster of 14 names is Utah Warriors flanker Lance Williams, who could make his international debut after impressing with the Headliners in the Premier Rugby Sevens.

Captain Kevon Williams returns from injury alongside fellow starters Joe Schroeder and Stephen Tomasin. Also rejoining the squad after missing out on Hong Kong are Naima Fuala’au, Faitala Talapusi, and Lucas Lacamp. Dropping out of the roster are Adam Channel, Cody Melphy, Nolan Tuamoheloa, and Sam Walsh, while Noah Brown and Will Chevalier have returned to Indiana University.

The two-day Dubai tournament begins next Friday, December 2. Competing against the USA in Pool D are Canada, Japan, and Samoa. The inexperienced Eagles returned with a respectable 6th-place finish in Hong Kong earlier this month.
