Australia without Samu Kerevi for Pumas tests

Australia will be without star midfielder Samu Kerevi for their two-match tour of Argentina. He started all three tests against England this month but will now temporary switch his focus to the seven-a-side game for next weekend’s Commonwealth Games.

Dave Rennie has included four uncapped players in his 36-man traveling squad. Rebels prop pair Matt Gibbon and Pone Fa’amausili, Waratahs lock or loose forward Jed Holloway, and outside back Jock Campbell from the Reds are all in line to make their senior international debuts.

There are three overseas-based players named with Toulouse tower Rory Arnold called in to reinforce the second row stocks. Japan-based duo Quade Cooper and Marika Koroibete are the others making the trip to Mendoza and San Juan.

The Wallabies lost their series against the visiting England side. After winning the first match in Perth they dropped the second and third tests in Brisbane and Sydney respectively. They will find a familiar face in Argentina with former coach Michael Cheika now in charge of Los Pumas.
