Final Rosters for Rugby Americas North 7s

The Rugby Americas North Sevens begins tomorrow in Nassau, Bahamas. Along with the prestige of the tournament itself, there are qualifying spots on offer for both the Commonwealth Games and September’s Rugby World Cup Sevens in Cape Town.

Following the withdrawals of both St. Vincent & The Grenadines and the Dominican Republic, there will be 13 men’s teams and 5 women’s teams competing. There are two men’s and one women’s place up for grabs for the World Cup, with the top men’s team aside from Canada – whose men and women have already qualified – heading to Birmingham.

The USA are not competing this year which leaves Canada as the clear favorites in both brackets, with Jamaica and Mexico also expected to challenge. All matches will be streamed live on the Rugby Americas North website with the full fixture list available here.
