Dallas signs LA scrumhalf Dylan James

The Dallas Jackals have announced the signing of scrumhalf Dylan James for the 2022 Major League Rugby season. He joins from the LA Giltinis, where he was a late-season call-up from the academy side.

James, 23, made just one appearance for the Giltinis in 2021, coming on as a second half replacement against the Utah Warriors in the final game of the regular season. Prior to joining LA he played for the Santa Monica Dolphins, the University of Utah, and the Utah Warriors Selects.

Dallas now have two scrumhalves confirmed for their inaugural campaign. Carlo de Nysschen was announced last month, returning to the Jackals after spending this past season with San Diego. He had joined the Legion after the Jackals opted to delay their MLR entry by a year.
