Anthony Parry re-signs with Rugby United New York

Anthony Parry has re-signed with Rugby United New York for the 2021 Major League Rugby season. The 30-year-old loosehead prop was an expected returnee having been part of the team since the 2018 exhibition campaign. He made his MLR debut later that year while on loan with NOLA.

Parry is an experienced campaigner whose entry into professional rugby came in 2016 with the Ohio Aviators. He has been an ever-present in the RUNY match day squads over the past two seasons. In 2020 Parry appeared in four of the five games with starts against New England and Austin.

New York now have six props signed for 2021. Parry joins incumbent starter James Rochford and Zak Taulafo as primary looseheads, with Samu Tawake, Wilton Rebolo, and Kirk Hamilton on the tighthead side. Dylan Fawsitt and Rob Irimsecu are the specialist hookers with Rebolo a third option.
