Facundo Cordero slices through Sale Sharks for impressive try

Facundo Cordero scored an impressive try for the Exeter Chiefs on Friday. The Argentine outside back sliced through the Sale Sharks defense to score in the opening half. His individual try saw him getting around and past three defenders.

The Sale Sharks won the match 25-20. They did so with 10 points being scored by USA fly half AJ MacGinty. His form this season has been impressive. The USA will be looking for him to convert it on the international stage. Later this year the USA will compete in RWC 2023 qualifiers.

Facundo Cordero is the younger brother of Puma Santiago Cordero. The 22-year-old Facundo is uncapped. Santiago has 38 caps. He featured in the 2020 Tri Nations, including in Argentina’s historic win over New Zealand in Sydney.

The form of both Cordero brothers has been of note this season. Both will be in consideration for international honors in 2021. Argentina is scheduled to play host to Wales and Georgia in July.
