Seawolves re-sign winger Sitiveni Tamaivena

The Seattle Seawolves have confirmed the return of winger Sitiveni Tameivena for the 2021 Major League Rugby season. A member of the extended squad this past year, the 27-year-old has been promoted to a senior contract for next year.

Sitiveni and twin brother Suliasi joined the Seawolves during the preseason in 2020. Despite his roster status, Siti played in four of the five games including two starts. The powerful Fijian effectively fills the hole left by the departure of Canadian international Jeff Hassler to Austin.

Seattle have now named 11 returning players for the 2021 season. The only new names revealed to date are Collegiate Draft picks Aaron Matthews and Nick Taylor.
