LA signs former Wallaby Dave Dennis from Exeter

The LA Giltinis have confirmed the signing of Australian international Dave Dennis. He arrives direct from the English Premiership and Champions Cup title-winning Exeter Chiefs on a contract that runs through the 2022 Major League Rugby season.

Dennis, 34, won 18 caps for the Wallabies between 2012 and 2013. Primarily a blindside flanker at test level, in recent years the 6’4″ (1.92m) forward has been used as a specialist lock.

Boasting over a decade of experience at the highest levels of professional rugby, Dennis arrives in LA with in impressive resume. He was a Super Rugby centurion and captain of the Waratahs before making the jump to Europe with Exeter in 2016.

LA will also employ Dennis in a mentorship role as part of the coaching staff for their youth development program. He is also notably the brother-in-law of new Austin Gilgronis Assistant Coach and fellow Australian international Mark Gerrard.
