World Tens Series to proceed with seven teams

The inaugural World Tens Series event in Bermuda will proceed with seven teams. An eighth team was to arrive from South American but has been forced to withdraw due to COVID-19 restrictions. The new round-robin format will see each team playing each other twice across the opening two weekends to determine seeding for the final knock-out round.

Confirmed teams include the Ohio Aviators, Miami Sun, and Rhinos from the USA; London Royals from the UK; SX10 from South Africa; Asia Pacific Dragons from Singapore; and Phoenix from the Middle East. Only Ohio and SX10 have revealed their rosters with the others to be unveiled early next week.

The tournament has also announced Sky Sports as the broadcast partner for the UK and Ireland. Viewing options for the Americas are yet to be confirmed. The tournament begins on October 24 and will continue for three successive weekends with the finals set for November 7.
