Valpolicella sign former Argentina XV center Bruno Devoto

Valpolicella have signed Bruno Devoto. The former Argentina XV center makes the move to Italy from Buenos Aires club CASI.

The 28-year-old Devoto is the second South American recruited in as many months. Valpolicella signed Uruguayan Juan Manuel Rodríguez last month from Peñarol. The pair will play for the Serie A side in the upcoming season. Both players are already in Italy with the club.

Devoto is uncapped, although he has represented Argentina in the past. His appearances in the Americas Rugby Championship mean that he is captured by Argentina. Of note is that he qualifies for Italy via his paternal grandfather. Had he not played for the Argentina XV he would be eligible for Italy.
