Juan Martín Hernández Named in Top 14 All-Time Dream Team

The official website of the Top 14 has named Juan Martín Hernández in the Top 14 All-Time Dream Team. The former Argentine fly half, inside center and fullback was named at the back as the greatest fullback in the Top 14.

Hernández played for Stade Français (2003-2009), Racing 92 (2010-2014) and Toulon (2014-2015). His time saw him winning the Top 14 and the European Champions Cup.

Hernández joins eleven French players in the Dream Team. Two of them are also in the back-three with Maxime Médard and Vincent Clerc named as the greatest wingers. Of the remaining players Argentina, Australia, England and England each contribute one player.

Hernández is the only non-French player to have played for a Top 14 side other than Toulon. Indeed, Bakkies Botha, Matt Giteau and Jonny Wilkinson all spent their entire time in the Top 14 at Toulon. They joined Hernández at the club, yet he also played for two other sides.

Sylvain Marconnet was a teammate of Hernández at Stade Français. All of the ten remaining French players all played against Hernández in the Top 14.
