New Harlequins contract for Paul Lasike

USA center Paul Lasike will be remaining in the English Premiership. Lasike joined the Harlequins in 2018, doing so from the Utah Warriors. He joined the Major League Rugby (MLR) side as a convert back to rugby from the NFL where he played for the Arizona Cardinals and then the Chicago Bears from 2015-2017.

He was a running back for the Chicago Bears while he is an inside center in rugby where he has impressed not only for the Utah Warriors and the Harlequins, but also for the USA Eagles. Lasike has nine caps for the Eagles, including three at RWC 2019 and a win over Scotland in 2018.

His new contract with the Harlequins extends on his two-year stay at the club. Aged 29, Lasike remains in his prime and has plenty to offer the Harlequins and the Eagles.
