In day six of the series the feature is Canada’s win over Tonga from RWC 2011 in New Zealand. The match was Canada’s opening pool match of the tournament. The North Americans went into the match as underdogs but came away with a 25-20 win with Phil Mackenzie’s 74th minute try sealing the victory.

The match was played in the northern city of Whangarei and would be Canada’s most recent win at a Rugby World Cup. In the remaining matches of RWC 2011 Canada fell to defeats against France, and New Zealand and suffered a late draw against Japan.
