Help the Bolivian National Rugby Team

Last week saw history made as the Bolivian national rugby team competed in international competition for the first time. Bolivia did so on home soil against a development side from the northern Argentine province of Salta.

While the occasion was tremendous for Bolivia it was also costly. Without any funding from the government or sponsors the players had to fund their own travel and accommodation expenses. Not only did they need to pay to play but they had to take time off work to do so.

Bolivia’s team is seeking further international competition and has a pathway in mind of achieving this. Pictured below is a signed Scotland rugby jersey, donated to the Bolivian national rugby team from the SRU.

The jersey could be yours! By helping Bolivia’s test side with a donation of £10 you will be in with a chance of winning it. To do so access the Go Fund Me campaign by clicking here.
