Chile Ready for Lima 2019 Pan American Games

Chile is ready for the Lima 2019 Pan American Games. Los Cóndores will be competing for Gold in the Rugby Sevens tournament putting together the very best from throughout the Americas.

Los Cóndores will travel north to Peru on July 21 and will compete from July 27-28 in the Rugby Sevens competition at the Villa María del Triunfo sporting complex.

The Chileans are pooled in Group A together with Brazil, Guyana, and the USA. Pool B will be comprised of Argentina, Canada, Jamaica, and Uruguay.

Chile’s opening match will be against Brazil on Friday July 26. It is to be followed by game two against the USA on Saturday July 27. Day two will also see Chile playing against Guyana in their final pool match.

For the competition Head Coach Edmundo Olfos has confirmed a twelve-man roster. The players selected are Chile’s finest, making their quest for a medal a goal that could be obtained.
