Munster confirm squad for Cara Cup

Munster have confirmed a 27-strong ‘A’ side to travel to Boston for their two Cara Cup fixtures. The team will play two matches during their trip, the first on Saturday, April 6, against the New England Free Jacks and the second against Leinster ‘A’ on Wednesday, April 10.

Included is a mix of senior squad members, academy standouts, and Irish age-grade internationals. Five players have Champions Cup experience, among them veteran scrumhalf Duncan Williams and David O’Callaghan, younger brother of Ireland and Lions test player Donncha O’Callaghan.

Other players with Guinness Pro 14 experience include prop Liam O’Connor, lock Sean O’Connor, back rowers Gavin Coombes and Conor Oliver, scrumhalf James Hart, and winger Alex Wootton. All but Hart have represented Ireland at u20 level.
