Urdapilleta Guides Castres to Away Win over Pau

The fine form of Benjamín Urdapilleta continues this season. On Saturday the Argentine fly half scored nine points in Castres’ 14-9 away win over Pau. He landed three penalties and assisted in Castres’ one try of the match.

The wins sees Castres drawing level with Racing 92 for a share of 7th place. The clubs will go head-to-head next weekend in Castres.

Urdapilleta joined Castres from Oyonnax. He had helped the club rise from the Pro D2 to the Top 14 and into the Top 14 barrage for the first time in history. With Castres he won the Top 14 last season and is now the all-time leading Argentine point scorer in the French league.

Last capped by Argentina in June 2013, Urdapilleta never played a test match under Daniel Hourcade. Mario Ledesma is yet to select a back from Europe for international duty though this will not continue for RWC 2019.
