MacGinty shines in Sale’s comeback win over Gloucester

AJ MacGinty had a strong performance on Saturday. The USA Eagles play-maker kicked 17 points for the Sale Sharks in a 22-19 come-from-behind win over Gloucester. The veteran of RWCs 2015 and 2019 kicked five penalties and converted his tam’s one try.

MacGinty has scored 63 points thus far in the 2020-2021 season. This is more than any other player in the English Premiership.

The Sale Sharks now occupy 4th position in the English Premiership standings. Gloucester are off the pace; the West Country side currently occupy bottom spot. Both teams will lay again next weekend. The Sale Sharks will be at home against the Worcester Warriors while Gloucester play away to the Newcastle Falcons.
