Former Australian captain George Gregan has named a team of the best he played with and against for Fox Sports. The veteran of four Rugby World Cups earned a total of 139 caps for the Wallabies and played in two RWC finals.
His Perfect World XV consists of players from seven countries: Argentina, Australia, England, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, and Wales. Agustín Creevy is the player named from Argentina.
The players involved span his career. He played international rugby from 1994-2007. His team includes teammates from the Wallabies’ RWC 1999 title: John Eales, Tim Horan and Joe Roff. Gregan also played Super Rugby with Roff at the Brumbies. They did so with George Smith who has also made Gregan’s Perfect XV.
