Muller try not enough for Brive at Castres

Brive came back from a 22-9 halftime deficit to make things interesting at Castres on Saturday, falling just short 28-26 but coming away with a losing bonus point on the road. After a terrible first half, it was Axel Müller’s try mid-way through the second stanza that sparked the revival.

The Argentine Olympic Sevens star has found tries hard to come by over the past couple seasons, this one his first of the season in his 7th start on the wing. A thunderous run from So’otala Fa’aso’o pushed the defense back, and when the ball went wide Müller was on hand to take the offload into the corner.
