Bennett replaces Leader in USA Select squad

The USA has made another late change to their Select XV squad for the Americas Pacific Challenge. San Diego Legion flyhalf Tadhg Leader has withdrawn and replaced by another player who qualifies on residency, Australia native Harry Bennett.

After impressing with the Sacramento Express during the 2016 PRO season, Bennett moved to New York and joined the NYAC club. He captained the side against the Houston SaberCats in February before starting for Rugby United New York in their inaugural match against the Ontario Arrows at Iona College.

Bennett travels to Montevideo looking for his first international experience. The Selects will play against Tonga, Uruguay, and Argentina in the Senior ‘A’ competition that begins next weekend.
