Marcos Camerlinckx completes move to Bath from Argentina

Bath is the new home of Marcos Camerlinckx. The English Premiership club announced the signing of the uncapped prop from Argentina in what is his first professional experience outside of South America. He joins the Bath roster which contains reputable front-rowers including Will Stuart, Archie Griffin, Vilikesa Sela and Kieran Verden.

Despite not having played for Los Pumas, Camerlinckx is on the radar for international duty. He recently played for the Argentina XV against the USA in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Camerlinckx completes his move to England at the age of 22. He does so following a notable campaign playing for Los Pampas in Super Rugby Americas (SRA) 2026 where he was a SRA champion, helping the Buenos Aires side to their first title.

His rise follows the domestic pathway of being identified early and entering the High Performance system. He played for Los Pumitas in 2023, making his debut for the Argentina U20 side against Fiji.

Marcos Camerlinckx is more than potentially a Puma in making. If capped he would join the illustrious list of second-generation Pumas. His father, Pablo Camerlinckx played No. 8 for Los Pumas. He debuted for Argentina at the age of 19 in 1989 and earned his final cap in 1999 against Wales.
