Los Pumas 7’s Win Silver at Cape Town Sevens

Los Pumas 7’s were beaten finalists at the 2025 Cape Town Sevens. The Argentines lost the final 21-19 against  hosts South Africa with the difference between the sides being a conversion. The tournament performance from Argentina was a vast improvement to that from Dubai in the opening tournament of the season.

In terms of the overall season positions, Argentina move from 8th to 6th to now be narrowly behind both France and Australia. Argentina join Australia, France and New Zealand in Group B of the next tournament. It will be played in Singapore on January 31 and February 01, 2026.
