The first products of new Argentine rugby kit providers Le Coq Sportif are now public. The first release of the new Unión Argentina de Rugby (UAR) jerseys is for 2024-2025. It includes the playing jerseys for Los Pumas, Los Pumas 7’s, Las Yaguaretés and Los Pumitas.
The unveiled jerseys are only the home strip. The design of an away jersey is yet to be made official. The jersey does not have a collar and sees two rather than three logos on the front. The 2023 Nike model featured three. That model had the UAR logo while the 2024-2025 Le Coq Sportif does not.
An additional change sees a new pattern of leaves play over the sky-blue stripe below the logos. The sponsor VISA remains on the white stripe two places below the branding logo and the Pumas logo.
Los Pumas 7’s will be the first to defend Argentina while wearing the new jerseys. The team will do so in the upcoming Hong Kong Sevens. The tournament will take-place from April 05-07.
Las Yaguaretés will play in May at the Sevens tournament in Krakow, Poland. Los Pumas debut test match will be a Le Coq Sportive vs Le Coq Sportif clash against France in Argentina on Saturday, July 06.
