Sixth season for Chris Turori with San Diego Legion

The San Diego Legion have re-signed Chris Turori for the 2023 Major League Rugby season. It will be his sixth year with the club, having joined ahead of the inaugural 2018 campaign.

Though largely used in a supporting role, Turori has been a consistent performer in his time with the Legion. The 29-year-old appeared in a career-high 11 games this past year, including one start against the Seawolves in the third week of the season

Turori will be a valuable domestic option for the Legion in 2023. The 6’4″ (1.93m) forward is primarily a blindside flanker but can also operate at lock. In addition to Turori, San Diego currently has three specialist second rows and six back rows signed up.
