Titi Lamositele and Montpellier book spot in Top 14 Final

USA prop Titi Lamositele started for Montpellier in what was a winning Semi Final effort on Saturday. Montpellier defeated Bordeaux 19-10 to book their spot in the 2022 Top 14 Final. Montpellier will face Castres in the Final on Friday, June 24.

Lamositele played loose head for Montpellier. He played 63 minutes before being replaced. He was one of three Americas players involved in the Semi Final. Pumas Santiago Cordero and Guido Petti started on the wing and in the second-row for Bordeaux.

The front-rower from Washington state joined Montpellier in 2020. He previously played for Saracens from 2015-2020 in the Premiership where he was an English champion. The 27-year-old now has the opportunity of a rare double – winning both the English Premiership and the French Top 14.
