Leonardo Gea Salim will play in the upcoming Súper Liga Americana de Rugby (SLAR) for Los Cafeteros Pro. The 20-year-old is the third player confirmed for the Colombian SLAR franchise for SLAR 2022.
In addition to Gea Salim, Los Cafeteros Pro have recruited Tomás Bertot and Juan Bautista Mernes for the 2022 season. More players are to arrive from Argentina.
Gea Salim can play across the backline, though his usual position is in the centers. He has previously been called-up to Los Pumitas and also has representative honors for Salta province.
He is 1,86 m tall and weighs 93kg. He is a product of Universitario Rugby Club in Salta. He has played rugby since a young age.
