Two-year senior contract for Free Jacks flanker Cam Davidowicz

The New England Free Jacks have added 25-year-old Cam Davidowicz to their loose forward stable for the 2022 Major League Rugby season. A local product of the Mystic River club, he was a late call-up to the senior group from the development squad in 2021 and has now been promoted to a professional contract that runs through the 2023 campaign.

Davidowicz played collegiate rugby for Plymouth State before joining brother Cody Davidowicz at Mystic River in the American Rugby Premiership. He joined the New England Independents squad in 2020 and started both preseason games against the Free Jacks, earning Man of the Match honors in the first.

Comfortable at flanker or No8, Davidwicz joins returnees Joe Johnston and Justin Johnson in an otherwise new-look back row. Arriving from New Zealand are Jesse Parete, Slade McDowall, and Terrell Peita. Wian Conradie signed for Gloucester in the English Premiership while Tera Mtembu has also left the team.
