Mexico added to Canada Sevens tourneys

Mexico are a late addition to the World Sevens Series events in Canada over the next two weekends. Las Serpientes will enter both Women’s and Men’s teams in Vancouver and Edmonton, taking the place of France who dropped out due to complications in vaccination protocols.

The Women’s side will compete in the ‘Fast Four’ event with the USA, Great Britain, and hosts Canada. It’s a full event for the Men’s side, who will compete in Pool A along with Kenya, Spain, and South Africa.

Coaching the Men’s side is Pablo Guerrero with assistants Camilo Falcón and Erik Castillo keeping watch on the Women’s side. Both teams were part of the Olympic Repechage tournament earlier this year.
