Chile names squad for Vancouver and Edmonton 7s

Chile have confirmed their traveling squad for the upcoming World Sevens Series tournaments in Vancouver and Edmonton. The 13-man roster includes a mix of established veterans and several new names that will be captained by 26-year-old Chile XV fullback Joaquín Huici.

Former skipper Felipe Brangier, Julio Blanc, and Luca Strabucchi have all represented Los Cóndores in test rugby. Among the youth are Leinster Academy flyhalf Sebastian Berti and a trio of schoolboys in Arturo Iriarte, Dante Marchese, and Giorgio Moltedo.

The Vancouver tournament kicks off on Saturday, September 18. Other men’s teams from the Americas competing include hosts Canada, Jamaica, and the USA. Pools are yet to be confirmed.
