Los Jaguares XV and Peñarol meet in round five of the Súper Liga Americana de Rugby (SLAR) on Sunday. The battle of the Rio de la Plata is also a top of the table battle; both teams are thus far undefeated in the 2021 season.

Los Jaguares XV have named a side featuring eight changes to face Peñarol. Patagonians Federico Wegrzyn and Juan Pablo Zeiss are the starting props. Both men toured Australia for the 2020 Tri Nations. Ezcurra captains the side again. He will reunite with Martín Elías in the halves. Outside Elías will be a new-look mid-field of Juan Pablo Castro, and Agustín Segura.

Peñarol have rotated for the match. It sees the same policy used by other teams when facing Los Jaguares XV. Peñarol have moved Tomás Inciarte from outside center to scrum-half and havee given Uruguayans opportunities in several positions.
