Benjamín Urdapilleta directs Castres to win over La Rochelle

The in-form Benjamín Urdapilleta has delivered again. The Argentine fly half scored 14 points for Castres in Saturday’s win over La Rochelle. The win moves Castres above Brive to now occupy 9th position in the Top 14.

Urdapilleta landed four penalties and one conversion in the win. He also had a try assist; Julien Dumora latched on to an Urdapilleta kick to score Castres’ one try of the win.

Urdapillet played the full 80 minutes. He was joined in the 69th minute by Uruguayan Santiago Arata. This gave Castres a 9-10 combination from either side of the Rio de la Plata. Also involved for Castres was Tyler Ardron. The Canadian entered together with Arata.

La Rochelle was also represented by Americas players. Pumas Facundo Bosch and Ramiro Herrera started at hooker and tight head prop respectively. Herrera is a former Castres player.
