Brazil forced out of Madrid 7’s

Brazil has been forced out of the Madrid 7’s. As Yaras were due to travel to the Spanish capital this month to compete in the World Rugby tournament. Instead, no trip will be made. Brazil’s women’s team will miss the tournament due to the global pandemic.

The Madrid 7’s will consist of two men’s and women’s tournaments. The first stage of the competition will be on February 20-21 and the second on February 27-28. Competing will be six men’s and six women’s teams.

The men’s competition will involve Argentina, France, Kenya, Portugal, Spain, and the USA. The women’s competition will consist of France, Kenya, Poland, Russia, Spain and the USA.
