Chile extended roster named for Valentín Martínez

Chile has named an extended roster for the Valentín Martínez tournament.The 2020 Valentín Martínez competition is scheduled to take place in Uruguay in late November.

The 23 selected players selected come from clubs throughout the country. Selectors Edmundo Olfos and Martín Domínguez have included players with prior experience and six new names.

Valentín Martínez is an pivotal competition to the women’s game in South America. The annual tournament has last played in Montevideo in November 2019. Brazil won the tournament to further their long-standing supremacy in the region. It marked Brazil’s 17th South American women’s title.
