Doug Fraser inks two-year Old Glory extension

Canadian international Doug Fraser has signed a two-year contract extension with Old Glory DC that secures his place through the 2022 Major League Rugby season. The announcement comes just one day after celebrating his 28th birthday.

Primarily a center, Fraser started four games on the wing for DC this season and showed outstanding form with a team-leading three tries scored. He signed for the expansion side from Austin Elite, whom he joined part-way through the 2019 campaign.

Fraser was part of Canada’s training squad ahead of Rugby World Cup 2019. Though he was not ultimately chosen for the tournament, he remains in the selection picture and will be hoping to add to his four test caps once international rugby resumes.
