Memorable Americas Tries – Mike Petri vs Australia 2015

Mike Petri scored a memorable try for the USA against Australia in 2015. The Eagles scrum half finished off a sublime run from winger Taku Ngwenya for the five pointed against the Wallabies at Chicago’s Soldier Field.

The 32nd minute score saw the Eagles running in a try from half way. The magic score saw made by Ngwenya who stepped his way through and around three defenders before off-loading to Petri for the finish.

The try was the sixth and last in the test career of Petri. The Brooklyn, New York native earned 57 test caps for the Eagles and played in two Rugby World Cups. His final cap was against Japan in Gloucester; the Eagles’ last match of RWC 2015.
