Manuel Diana scored a match-winning try for Uruguay against the Argentina XV in 2018. His try in the corner came in the 69th minute and put Los Teros out of reach. They won the match 26-20 and with it they successfully defended their Nations Cup title.
The try saw Diana linking with Felipe Berchesi. The fly half was the hero of the match for Uruguay. He assisted in the try and kicked six goals in what was a 16 point performance. This saw him outperforming Los Jaguares’ Joaquín Díaz Bonilla.
Also scoring for Los Teros was Leandro Leivas. He went over eight minutes prior to Diana. His try changed the shape of the match as before he scored the Argentina XV were leading 17-9.
