Installations Resume at Paraguay’s Héroes de Curupayty

Work has returned at the national Paraguayan rugby stadium. Following disruptions due to covid-19, installations have resumed at the Héroes de Curupayty in the Luque neighborhood of the national capital, Asunción.

The URP are installing an artificial playing surface. The synthetic playing surface will be Asunción joining the Estadio Charrúa in Montevideo, Uruguay in having state-of-the-art turf. Posts had been installed prior to the disruptions and now the turf itself is being added.

Hope remains that the field can be inaugurated this year. The URP intends on playing host to competitions at the venue, though it remains unknown what rugby this may be.
