Memorable Americas Tries – Chris Wyles vs Italy

The USA Eagles went 1-3 at RWC 2011. Their final match was against Italy in Nelson, New Zealand. The match gave the North Americans a chance at winning two games in a RWC for the first time. Based on the early-goings they had a chance at doing so.

The try scored by Chris Wyles level the scoring at 7-7. The Eagles fullback scored what was a support try as he was in the right place at the right time to finish off a superb crash-run from center Paul Emerick.
